Brian E. O’Connor is a partner in the Litigation Department of Willkie Farr and Gallagher LLP and the Chair of the Bankruptcy Litigation Practice Group in New York. Mr. O’Connor specializes in bankruptcy litigation, securities litigation, merger and acquisition litigation and general complex commercial litigation. Mr. O’Connor was recognized as one of the 2010 New York Super Lawyers in Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights.

Mr. O’Connor has held a number of management positions at the firm, including Hiring Partner. Mr. O’Connor is a member of the American and New York Bar Associations, the Association of the Bar of City of New York, the Federal Bar Council and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Mr. O'Connor served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Matthew J. Jasen, Associate Judge of the New York Court of Appeals from 1977 to 1979.
