Marc-David Weinberger is a national partner in the Corporate and Financial Services and Business Reorganization and Restructuring Departments of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Brussels. Mr. Weinberger specializes in banking and financial services law, guaranties, and insolvency law. He also has significant experience in corporate and commercial litigation.

Since 2005, Mr. Weinberger has served as an assistant lecturer at the University of Brussels ("Université Libre de Bruxelles"), where he teaches Legal Personality Law.

Mr. Weinberger is the author and co-author of several scientific writings, particularly in the areas of financial services law, guaranties, and insolvency law, and regularly speaks on these topics at conferences and seminars. He also authored a book on the contractual aspects and liability regime of providing asset management and investment advice, before and after the issuance of the Market in Financial Instruments Directive.

In 2003, Mr. Weinberger won the pleading prize of the Brussels Bar ("Conférence du Jeune Barreau").
