Mitchell J. Auslander is Co-Chair of the Litigation Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.  He is also Chairman of the Firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group.  Mr. Auslander specializes in commercial litigation with particular emphasis on insurance and reinsurance matters worldwide, as well as government investigations.

Mr. Auslander regularly represents Marsh & McLennan, the world’s largest insurance broker, in a wide variety of litigation, corporate and regulatory matters.  He is lead counsel in civil litigation arising out of government investigations of the insurance industry.  He also represents a diverse group of clients on directors and officers, bankruptcy, business interruption, workers compensation, fidelity, asbestos, and reinsurance matters.  His practice includes litigation, general counseling, and pre-litigation dispute resolution.
